NFC Tags, Readers and Software for Developers
Developers of NFC software have different needs than a marketing director. You will need at least one NFC reader and a bunch of NFC tags for testing. You will need to determine which NFC chip is appropriate for your applications needs. Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac and Linux all support NFC readers at the driver level, but none currently have a built in NFC SDK. Google Android has support for NFC in mobile phones and tablets, and Microsoft Windows 8 phone and Apple’s iPhone 5 will also support NFC. GoToTags has developed several NFC Applications and SDKs to make it easier to develop NFC applications.
